Initial fling with Holga

Restless.  Antsy.  And everything else.

Lately, I've been going through a photographer's version of "writers block".
Seems that nothing is properly flowing nor emerging with the right spiritual balance.

Band-aid remedy:  Holga HL-C lens.

Poor man's beer goggles perhaps, but something to shake up the status quo.

Toy store Mecca, in the heart of Ebisu, Tokyo.
Young and old alike, one is bound to unlock their child within.

This shop turned out to be a great session as the myriad of colours, characters, and various genres provided seemingly unlimited subjects.

Reflective Voyeurism

Cameras of yesteryear.
Elegant and timeless, in form and function.

Through my curious stares, my eyes asked them, "How are you all doing?  Is there anything that you could share with me?"  With a proverbial smile this was their response.

Some things old, something new

Another day, another week of being mired in the rut.
That feeling of "same old, same old...nothing's new".

Clawing for freedom from my self-imposed delusion, I broke from the path.
That broken trail delivered a solace and a re-appreciation for the beauty that lies in the old.

Keep searching, there's always something new.
